What time can you start making a noise from e.g hoovering from on a morning?

There isn't a law as such, however if you are renting, there maybe noise restrictions in the rental agreement, but really it is down to respect for your neighbours, I personally wouldn't cause noise such as diy or hoovering until after 9am and before 9pm. But again its down to respect for your neighbours, they may be night shift workers, or have young children.
