Why do Mormon teachers seem to not teach their fellow Mormons about becoming a God?

Interesting why they wouldnt adress such an issue. I dont have the answer because im not mormon however, if they believe in the new testement then ask them this as well Galatian 1:9 "As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
